Korea Customs Service

The Korea Customs Service is responsible for administering the Customs Act of Korea. The Customs Service's duties include the assessment and collection of all duties, taxes on imported goods, the enforcement of Customs and related laws, and the administration of international conventions. As a major enforcement organization, the Korea Customs Service combats smuggling and revenue fraud, and enforces the regulations of other government agencies at ports of entry and along the sea borders of Korea.

Bank of Korea

The Bank of Korea is the central bank of South Korea. The primary purpose of the Bank is the pursuit of price stability. The Bank sets a price stability target every year in consultation with the Government and draws up and publishes an operational plan including it for monetary policy. To this end, the Bank performs the typical functions of a central bank, issuing banknotes and coins, formulating and implementing monetary and credit policy, and serving as the bankers' bank and the government's bank.

Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy (MOCIE)

MOCIE is responsible for trade policy related to exports and imports, bilateral & multilateral trade cooperation, and international trade policy. The Ministry also conducts investigations and determines if Korean industries have been injured by imports.
