Overview

VendorReferrals® is Expeditors' unique exception management, analysis and reporting tool. VendorReferrals® provides our customers with data to effectively manage their vendor and discrepancy issues - driving costs out of their supply chain.

Customers can identify and report on their supply chain issues, such as vendor performance, and assign hard-costs to them.

Automated and Efficient

When discrepancies are identified by Expeditors during processing, referrals are created and transmitted electronically to the customer - or their representatives - for resolution. Key shipment and vendor data, and documents, along with customer references, are contained in the referral providing the customer with the information necessary to address the issue. When the discrepancy is resolved the customer responds back to the system and shipment processing is completed.
