Expeditors exp.o® ISF - Importer Security Filing

Overview

exp.o® ISF is Expeditors' web based tool to assist Importers with compliance with U.S. Custom's Importer Security Filing (10+2) requirement. exp.o® ISF allows Importers to create a collaborative process between themselves and their trading partners to gather the best data from the best source so that they can meet timing and reporting requirements and minimize disruption to their supply chain.

Automated and Efficient

exp.o® ISF is fully configurable by the Importer, who can choose to complete their filings via EDI, using standard business data available in the company's enterprise data systems; via spreadsheet upload; or through manual data entry.

Through exp.o® ISF the importer can grant access to their security filings to vendors and suppliers and assign responsibilities for data input to them. The application provides workflow functionality to assist importers, vendors and suppliers with meeting their responsibilities and managing their work queue. When the security filing cutoff day approaches, exp.o® ISF automatically edits the data for formatting accuracy and completeness; applies business rules configured by the Importer to fill missing data elements; and if necessary, sends a notification to the appropriate party letting them know there is still work for them to do to complete the filing. When all data is available, exp.o® ISF transmits the information to US Customs.
