Webinar

Please join our webinar on Forced Labor and the actions being taken by US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to address the presence of forced labor in global supply chains. The webinar will focus on the following areas:

  • Overview of forced labor
  • US Statutes prohibiting forced labor and government agency actions in accordance with those statutes

DFW ACE/Duty Minimization Seminar

April 16

9:00am-4:00pm (UTC+05:00)

Seminar

The Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) portal contains tools which are most helpful when importers and exporters are tasked with monitoring their transactional activity, obtaining information about filers and bonds, and reviewing liquidation and ISF accuracy. We will provide tips and tricks for working with your company’s data within the portal, how to run and modify reports, and how to use the ACE system to augment your auditing work. Please bring your laptop so you can sign in to ACE and practice with your own company’s data.

Duty minimization strategies such as TIBs, MPF Management, Duty Drawback, and Foreign Trade Zones save real money during the import process, as do Free Trade Agreements which, despite having been around in one form or another for about 40 years, remain one of the most complex, misunderstood, and misapplied customs strategies used by importers and exporters today. We will review the different ways importers may lessen the impact of duties on their cost of doing business
